WELCOME to the world Little Man!!!!

Charles Wyatt Taylor was born today December 28, 2008!!!! He was born at 5:55 a.m. and weighed 5 pounds 15 ounces and is 18 inches long! Big Sis Abby is so excited! We are all doing fine! We will go home on Tuesday! What a wonderful gift! My heart is overflowing!!! I will post pics soon..

And.. we are still waiting + Christmas

I have tons of pics to put on here and will post those tonight! Abby had a great Christmas!! We all did! I enjoyed waking up at my own house on Christmas morning! This has been a first.. Stephen and I are usually traveling to his parents, his grandparents, his aunt's house, my parents house, etc.. so we are never at our own house. It was alot of fun! She was very excited!!!
As for Wyatt.. he is not here yet. I thought yesterday would be the day but he is still just hanging out a little longer. It should be any day now... We have made progress and he is weighing a little over 6.5 pounds! WOW!! That is good for me!We are all very anxious to meet him! I'll be sure and keep everyone updated!

No baby yet!

I feel huge and so ready to have this baby! Abby keeps asking everyday when her brother will be here! We may just be blessed with a Christmas baby! Who knows!! We are waiting patiently everyday! Yes.. I am only 35 weeks along but that is GREAT for me! The doctors call everyday to make sure I am still hanging in there.. I have my last progesterone shot on Monday and then YAY!!!! no more of those horrible shots!!! Wyatt is weighing in at 6 pounds! Thank you God for watching over me! I am ready to be a Mommy of 2 sweet Taylor kids! :)

Abbyhad her school program this morning.. She woke up sick and did not like her dress anymore, her shoes, her black tights etc.... It was rough morning. We finally got her to school and went into the auditorium to wait. She was excited about performing, but when she saw all the people, she burst into tears. Poor thing. By the end of the program, she had warmed up..

PACI UPDATE!

1 week and no paci!!! WAY TO GO ABBY!!! We are so proud of you!!!!!
I go to the doctor tomorrow so I will have an update on Baby Wyatt! I will be 34 weeks next week! I am making it! Thank you so much for all of your prayers!

Gingerbread House

Stephen bought Abby a (make your own gingerbread house) last week.. The day after Thanksgiving Abby and Stephen sat at the table and put it together.. It was soo cute and she was extremely excited! Stephen has been great about finding little things for them to do since I am not much help lately! Here are some pics of Abby and Stephen making it and then the final product!

PACI UPDATE!

Abby has been without her Paci since Sunday! Yesterday she did not even ask for it! Bedtime has been pretty easy.. She now just picks out a stuffed animal or Barbie to sleep with. Also, a great friend of ours gave Wyatt a Country tunes Lullaby CD.. Abby loves it.. I have been putting that on at night and she is asleep by the 3rd or 4th song! Thanks Zac and Heather!

Still doing OK!!

I had my doctor's appointment yesterday and everything is still ok! Wyatt is still getting big and is weighing in at 5 pounds 8 ounces! I am still on bedrest and will be 33 weeks tomorrow. Keep us in your prayers.. They are working!!!! I needed to make it to 34 weeks and I am almost there! We hope he stays put until Stephen returns on the 12th!!! We will keep you posted! On another note.. We are soooo proud of Abby! She will be 3 next month and has been extremely attached to her paci! We have tried and tried to get rid of it but nothing worked! On Sunday morning, she walked over to the trash can and threw them away.. Then she got down on the floor and just cried! It was so sad.. but Daddy took her to the toy store and let her pick out a prize. She has been doing so great! No paci now for 53 hours and counting! YAY ABBY!!!!! You are now a BIG GIRL!!!!!

WYATT UPDATE/BEDREST

Well for some reason I knew this time was going to come again. I am on bedrest again! Dr. Friedman says everything looks great so thank goodness for those steroid shots! I am 32 week (almost) so Wyatt needs to just hang out a little longer. My doctor said if I can hold off for another 2-3 weeks we will be in good shape. He will definitely make his arrival before Christmas! :) He is weighing in at 5 pounds! That is great news! Please keep us in your prayers as we are hoping to avoid another NICU journey! If not, we surely know what to expect and how to handle the NICU. My sweet Abby spent a month there but I don't know if Daddy can handle that again! WE are all staying strong and in hopes I can make it another few weeks! Thanks to everyone for your help during this time! I know poor Abby is ready for all of this to be over! She wants her MOMMY to hold her!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEPHEN!

Stephen's birthday was this past Sunday. Abby and got up early and made him his favorite blueberry muffins. She was so excited about taking it to him while he was still asleep. :) Then, we gave him his new wallet and overnight bag for his trips away from home. That night, we invited Grammy and Granpa to come along with us to our favorite place to eat, HB Japanese Steakhouse. Abby just LOVES it. She will eat everything they put in front of her. We had a great cook that night he let Stephen and Abby show off behind the stove and take a pic and wear the big red hat. Happy Birthday Stephen! WE LOVE YOU!

WOW

So tomorrow I am having a BABY SHOWER for Wyatt. I can't believe I am actually attending one pregnant. Since Abby came so early, she was already born and in the hospital when I had my showers for her. I am very excited and can't wait to post pics! I will be 31 weeks on Wednesday and am so thankful I have made it this far without complications. GOD IS GOOD! Please keep those prayers coming that I make it to Christmas! Boy, that would be great!!! Abby is so excited about being a big sister! I can't believe that I will be a Mommy of 2 next month! How amazing!!!!!

BABY SHOWER and WYATT UPDATE

This past Monday I had my first baby shower for Wyatt! My Stay at home Mommy Group gave me a shower. We had a blast.. all the kids played while we ate, played shower games and opened presents.
I am 29 weeks this week and Baby Wyatt is 3 pounds! He is growing so fast and praying everyday he stays put until around Christmas! No signs of pre term labor yet! THANK GOODNESS! The baby room is completed and will post pics soon. Abby is very excited and is practicing giving a bottle to her baby dolls as well as bathing them.

This past week was soo busy! Abby has had soo fun birthdays that she has attended and playdates galore! Here are a few pics of this past week.

Stephen was traveling this week and was going to have to miss Doughnuts with Dad at her preschool.. I was so upset so I thought I would call Grandpa... He said absolutely! Here is Abby and Grandpa this past Tuesday at Doughnuts with Dad! Abby was soooo happy Grandpa came to school with her!

Birthday

Last week was my 33rd birthday! I can't believe I am 33!!! On Friday morning, the 17th Abby and I went to Chuck E Cheese to celebrate my birthday with my friend Stacey and her daughter Ashlyn.. Abby thought it was so funny that I got a birthday sticker and tokens! :) Of course I gave them to her.. That night, Stephen and Abby took me to HB, our favorite Japanese Restaurant.. It was quite yummy! Then, they surprised me with a new watch! I needed one so bad! On Saturday, Grammy kept Abby for the night.. Stephen and I stayed in, rented movies and ordered take out and did nothing. It was wonderful. On Sunday, we headed over to pick up Abby. She was so excited to see me bc she had helped make me a birthday cake. It was the best birthday cake I have ever had because she made it! She was so happy... so it was a great day! Whataburger and Chocolate cake!!!!!
