December ~Full of Excitment!

Wow! What a busy month.. So much has been going on and I have been unable to get on here and blog! It is the day after Christmas and I have to say.. it was quite amazing.. watching my 2 kids look out under the tree Christmas morning to see if Santa came!! WOW! The month started off with many Christmas parties and Abby's Dance party as well as her school performance. She did so well in both of them!  Then we had Wyatt's street block party.. The kids had fun eating fun foods and popcorn and riding the train! Then, we had the Christmas Eve service at church where Stephen had to speak and Abby and I lit the Advent candle during the service.  The Stephen and I were asked to serve communion.  It was a Christmas Eve I will never forget... Now.. on Monday my little man turns 1! I can't believe it! We are excited Mamaw and Papaw and Londen and Parris are coming in town next week for a belated X'mas with them and to celebrate Abby and Wyatt's birthdays!!!

A Special Day!

Well, as most of you know Abby has been taking gymnastics since she was 10 months old and any little milestone is a big deal! She loves going each week and adores her coaches.  We are so glad to have a great group of friends in her class as well.  Today, Abby and some of her friends advanced to new levels! Congrats Abby! We love you! Congrats to Riley, Angelina and Catalina as well!!!

HALLOWEEN

I am so late posting Halloween pics but wanted to get them on here. We had so much fun this year.  Abby was super excited about being Tinkerbell! I had to hide her costume for almost a month. I KNEW if she saw it she would wear it EVERYDAY!  Wyatt was a Skeleton! He was precious and enjoyed his first Halloween! We live on the best street! Everyone is always doing something and inviting everyone to their events. One family had a block party for all the kids who live on our culdesac.  They had hotdogs, chips, drinks and dessert for them before they began trick or treating! It was a blast! And yes.. Stephen had fun too! Halloween has always been a favorite  holiday of his!!!

Abby and the Pony

A couple of weeks ago I traveled home with Abby and Wyatt to visit Mamaw and Papaw and Abby's favorite cousins, Londen and Parris! It rained the entire time but that did not stop us from going to the Fair. Abby begged Papaw to take her so she could ride the ponies! She loved it! Although it was a quick trip, I survived flying on a plane with both kids and we made it back in one piece! Thank you Mom and Dad for a wonderful birthday weekend! The cake was yummy and I love, love, love my present!

OCTOBER!!!

October is finally here!!! YAY! I love the Fall and can't wait for all of the upcoming activities we have planned! BUT.... no pics to share our our adventures last week because our camera is MIA!! I can't find it.. The only thing I can guess is we left it at the Zoo. Stephen took off last week and we took the kids to the zoo. I had some great pics to share of Abby and of Wyatt enjoying his second trip to the zoo. If I find it, I'll post! Wyatt turned 9 months on Monday! I can't believe he will be a year old in a few months! And... Abby will be 4! She had her Storybook Festival at school today and went as Little Red Riding Hood. I wish every day was storybook day because she had no problem wearing her outfit all day! For those of you who know Abby, she changes clothes at least 4-5 times a day!!! Everyone is doing well and we are looking forward to the Fall Festival at church this weekend and Me and the Kids are heading out to Mississippi on the 10th to visit Mamaw and Papaw and take our annual trip to the State Fair. This had been a tradition since I was very small.. Abby has been every year and this will be Wyatt's first trip! Hope I find my camera or I guess I'll have to break down and buy a new one! :( or should I say :)!!YIPPEE! We have a very busy month ahead of us and I am so excited to get it started..

PINKIE TWINK

My Mother In Law has started a business making the cutest dresses. The pictures just don't do them any justice. She makes Knot dresses, jumpers, pillowcase dresses and much more. Check out her website to see some of her Christmas Jumpers.

She also has started making Onesies for boys with the ties sewn on for special occasions. She just sold one with an A&M tie.. My father in law is also selling his products. As most of you know he made Abby's precious playhouse and swingset along with her bedroom furniture. He is now selling his doll cradles and child rocking chairs. I'll get some pics soon for you to see! They are both so talented and have some great products for sale!!!!

Summer is over, school is now is session!

We had a wonderful summer, but I was ready for school to start and get to a routine! Abby started back to preschool at Grace and was very excited! She will be going 3 days this year! On top of school, she started Ballet on Wednesday night and Gymnastics on Friday mornings. I know it seems like a lot of stuff but my Abby is an energizer Bunny and I had to keep her busy! My sweet Wyatt just goes along for the ride everywhere we go. In the next couple of months, we are going to enroll Wyatt is swimming. He LOVES the water and I think he is going to be our little swimmer! He is growing so fast! Wyatt will turn 9 months on the 28th of this month! He is not quite crawling yet but seems to get where he wants to go by pushing and rolling! He is into everything! We are now starting to plan for Halloween. Then Christmas and birthdays are right around the corner!!! Here are a few pics of the kids!

Firsts and Lasts

This past week I decided to slow down a little bit and remember what is most important in my life.. and with that said, My family is extremely important to me and I started thinking and firsts and lasts with my sweet kids. We said goodbye to the Blue baby bathtub. Abby used it when she was a baby and then Wyatt used it and the other night we moved him into the big bathtub! It made me sad to know that the little tub would never be used in our house again.. Wyatt is also moving out of his infant seat today. Abby also used the same one and today I realized that now at 7 months old I need to move him into a bigger carseat. So that means a big boy stroller to go with it. Too bad my Maclaren Stroller was all pink.... So we are off to purchase a new stroller for my little man! I am soooo happy to be out of the newborn phase and moving into a new one. Abby loves her little brother and is turning into such a little "girl"! She is not a little toddler anymore... She went on her first bike ride last night with her friend Lindsay and she was so proud she rode her little bike up and down the cul de sac for 2 hours!!! Life is going by so fast... I don't want to miss a thing!
