Firsts and Lasts

This past week I decided to slow down a little bit and remember what is most important in my life.. and with that said, My family is extremely important to me and I started thinking and firsts and lasts with my sweet kids. We said goodbye to the Blue baby bathtub. Abby used it when she was a baby and then Wyatt used it and the other night we moved him into the big bathtub! It made me sad to know that the little tub would never be used in our house again.. Wyatt is also moving out of his infant seat today. Abby also used the same one and today I realized that now at 7 months old I need to move him into a bigger carseat. So that means a big boy stroller to go with it. Too bad my Maclaren Stroller was all pink.... So we are off to purchase a new stroller for my little man! I am soooo happy to be out of the newborn phase and moving into a new one. Abby loves her little brother and is turning into such a little "girl"! She is not a little toddler anymore... She went on her first bike ride last night with her friend Lindsay and she was so proud she rode her little bike up and down the cul de sac for 2 hours!!! Life is going by so fast... I don't want to miss a thing!

Bye Bye

Stephen's Dad (aka Grandpa Mike) left to return to the Philipines.. While he was here Abby and Wyatt enjoyed visiting with him..We also got a visit from Stephen's half brother, Derek! We hope he had a safe trip and look forward to seeing him again next year! We love you!

The Circus Comes to Town

Stephen and I decided to take the kids to the circus this year. We were both so excited but started thinking it might be a little much for Wyatt. So Stephen's Mom gladly came over to watch him. So we took Abby by her self. She thought that was super.. a night out with Mommy and Daddy with all the attention on her! LOL! She is growing up so fast. Where does the time go??

I can't believe it is almost July and I am just now posting! Things have been quite busy around here. We took a family trip to the Great Wolf Lodge which was amazing. Then Abby finished her second year of preschool. She also attended her first year of Vacation Bible School and I taught Music to MANY 3 and 4 year olds. She is now in her second week of VBS while I am spending the week with Wyatt.. Wyatt started The Little Gym and he goes on Thursdays to his very own Gymnastics class.. YES>> they make classes for itty bitty ones! He laughs the entire time!! AND... my little guy is now 6 MONTHS OLD!!! WOW! And.. Abby turned 3.5! Next week Abby will get to go to Dance Camp for a week.. She has been asking when she can wear those tap shoes so she is very excited.. Then we are off the Jackson to visit my family for the 4th of July! I'll be sure and post more pics very soon! Oh yeah.. in the midst of all of this.. Stephen and I celebrated 7 years of marriage!!! We had the best dinner at Kenzo and he gave the the sweetest letter and a gift card to Massage Envy for a 1 hour massage! AHHHHH

Happy 5 Months Wyatt

I can't believe my BABY BOY is now 5 months old.. Where does the time go? I have been so blessed and thank God everyday for my 2 very special miracles. Happy 5 months Mr. C! :) Isn't he handsome!!!! I love you Wyatt!

WOW! Where does the time go? I have been so bad about keeping up with my blog. We are so busy around here as I am sure everyone else is... With Abby's school, playdates, gymnastics, now dance, AND going to the Y daily we are so busy! I had to get on here and say CONGRATS to my two sweet nieces. Londen and Parris both play for the high school softball team at Northwest Rankin. Londen is a Junior this year and Parris is a 7th grader~ yes a 7th grader and plays for the highschool. These two girls are fantastic ball players! They should be.. they have been playing their entire life..Sports run through those Ladners' veins! Anyway, they won STATE CHAMPS this past weekend! Muffins with Mommy

Last week I was invited to eat breakfast with Abby at her school for Muffins with Mommy. She was so excited to have ME all to herself. I had a nice time visiting with her teachers, friends, and their Mommies! What a wonderful day! I love you Boo Bear!
