Counting down the days!

We have been so busy lately, I have not taken any pics or had time to blog! We are closing on our house on the 18th and I am sooo excited! We went yesterday to measure for new countertops and flooring.. We have been spending every minute packing and getting things ready for the movers. They come on the 9th of September. I am so sad to leave our wonderful neighbors.. The Bensons and the Swaenopoels have been such wonderful neighbors and I hate to leave them.. BUT... we will only be a few streets over.. YEP.. we bought in the same neighborhood that we have been renting in for the past 2 years. This location is awesome.. we are close to everything, great schools and great people. As soon as I can, I will post pics of the house and of my growing belly. I said this time around I would be much better at taking weekly pics. So tomorrow I will take my WEEK 17 pic. Abby has been sick lately so we have not been doing too much.. She loves the pool so I have been taking her swimming and I have been enjoying my water aerobics at Lifetime Fitness! Abby goes back to school on the 2nd of September and also starts her new gymnastics class AND she is going to be in the choir at church. What a busy 2 year old! Check back tomorrow for some pics.

Baby Taylor Update

I went for my 16 week check up today and everything looks great! Thank goodness! Dr. Friedman says this one is quite active.. He/she was moving all over the place today so it took him forever to find the heartbeat. When he did, it was very strong!! I am just thrilled! We will find out the sex of the baby on August 25th! Stephen, unfortunately will be traveling on this day so Abby and I will make the doctor visit together.. She keeps telling me it is a girl.. we shall see!

SHE DID IT!

My little girl is growing up! After months of wondering if she would ever become potty trained, I read a post on my good friend Cindy's blog. She put up a chart. Eventhough I had put up many charts before, this one seem to have clicked with Abby.. After she used the big potty 5 times, she got ice cream.. When she reached 5 stickers for the first time, we went for ice cream at 8 P.M.!!!! Yes that is right!! But.. it worked.. As soon as she kept reaching that 5th sticker, we went to Dairy Queen no matter what time it is.. Yes.. Dairy Queen is HUGE in Texas and Abby loves their ice cream cone dipped in chocolate..When we filled the chart, I took her to the toy store where she got to get two prizes.. She chose a Sleeping Beauty barbie that goes in the bathtub and a new Groovy Girl doll.. And I bought her some new BIG GIRL PANTIES!! WAY TO GO ABBY!!!!!!!! Now time to get rid of that Paci! I think the Paci Fairy may come in a couple of weeks! She is so attached to that paci... ugh!

Princess Dress Up

Abby just loves to dress up in her princess outfits. When Aubrie comes over, they put on a fashion show for me.. They were so cute today so I decided to take their picture! Well.. actually Stephen did. I am hiding behind Aubrie.. They were playing hairdresser and decided to fix my hair. That pic will come at a later date! What a pair! Aubrie will be starting Kindergarten this year.. I can't believe it!

We just returned from our wonderful vacation in Florida. We met my parents and my sister and her family in Panama City for a much needed week vacation.. My parents were going down anyway to watch my two nieces, Londen and Parris in the World Series Softball Tournament... so we decided to go as well and stay with my parents in their condo.. Abby had so much fun playing at the pool. She was not crazy about the sand at the beach, so she enjoyed the pool EVERY morning and every night until in closed. We also went to the softball games and wow it was sooo hot. We took Abby to some of the amusement places around Panama and she loved riding the go carts with Stephen! Family Weekend!

On Saturday, Stephen and I took Abby to the Museum of Natural History. We had a wonderful time! The best part was the Butterfly Garden. Abby was amazed that the butterflies would just come up and land on your hand. She also enjoyed the movie at the Planetarium.. We took a break from our tour and headed outside to have a picnic. She thought it was so fun to eat outside on a blanket. We had a great day! Now, on Tuesday, Abby and I will join our friends Mrs. Bridgett, Abbey Grace and Josh for a trip to the Children's Museum.

WOW!

This past weekend, Abby and I tagged along with Stephen while he worked in San Antonio and Austin. Luckily, Grandma lives in Blanco which is close to both cities so we stayed with her! Abby had such a good time! She got to pick carrots and tomatoes out of the garden, swim, feed the horses, chase deer (ha), play in the sand box, swing, chase all 4 weenie dogs around, and ride the tractor with daddy! It was also great to see Aunt Jenni and baby cousin Morgan! Thanks Grandma! We had a wonderful time!!! Thanks for all the yummy food!
