A visit from Mamaw!!!

Thank you Mamaw for coming to visit us! We had so much fun!!! See you in a few weeks!!

SPECIAL!

Mother's Day weekend, Stephen, Abby, Grammy and I drove to Blanco, Texas to spend Mother's Day with Abby's Great Grandma.. We had fun playing in the sprinkler, swinging out on the frontporch, watering the garden, looking for deer, fox, guineas, horses, etc, fishing, wading through the stream, and so on!!! On Sunday morning, we loaded up the car and headed to Gruene Hall near New Braunfels, Texas.. Gruene (pronounced Green) Hall is the oldest dance hall in Texas.. Many movies and commercials have been filmed there and MANY country acts have played there, including George Strait! They had a Mother's Day brunch at Gruene Hall with a Gospel Band. As you can see in the pics.. Abby danced the entire time! We also enjoyed eating brunch with Joye, Brad, Jenni, Travis and Baby Morgan!

After returning to Houston that afternoon, Stephen took us to Tokyo Hibachi Grill for dinner! This was Abby's first experience at a Japanese restaurant! SHE LOVED IT! I posted a pic of her eating the soup! She told the cook he did a great job! We will definitely return to the Tokyo grill! After dinner, we headed out for Ice Cream at Cold Stone Creamery! Thank you Abby and STephen for a wonderful Mother's Day! I love you both very much!

MOM, if you are reading this, I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day! I so missed spending it with you! I love you so much and we look forward to your trip to see us this weekend! We have a GREAT weekend planned for you!

I am a little late at posting this.. but last week was our MARCH FOR BABIES WALK! We began our 5 mile walk last Sunday on the campus of The University of Houston. Abby did great traveling in style in her little wagon! We raised almost 1000 dollars thanks to you! I can't thank Grammy enough for walking with us and making Abby's precious outfit and buttons for us to wear! We love you! Also thanks to Jessica and Juanita for their support and for walking with us! What a great cause and we will definitely be doing it again next year in honor of Abby!

FAMILY WEEKEND!!

Stephen took the day off on Friday and we decided to take Abby out to Memorial City Mall . They have a GREAT play area called the castle and a huge 2 story carousel to ride! After spending the day out there, we came back and put up Abby's little tent in the backyard! She thought that was awesome! It came with a little sleeping bag and water bottle! On Saturday, we took Abby to the WWII Airshow at the airport here in Katy. We took her last year and she LOVED the airplanes. Same thing this year! She loved it. She was smiling the entire time and thought it was so neat to get in the planes! Thank you Stephen for a wonderful weekend! We had so much fun! I LOVE YOU!

Friends from College (Angela and Amy)

A friend of mine sent me this pic that was taken at Robin's baby shower! It was great to visit with everyone! Angela, the girl on the left, lived downstairs from me in my freshman dorm. She grew up in Hattiesburg and was friends with Robin, my Hattiesburg roomate! The girl in the middle, Amy, was one of my saviors through college! Amy and I had the same major in college so we saw each other every day! We spent alot of time together in college and so miss hanging out with her! She moved to Galveston after college then off to Los Angeles with Angela a few years after that! They both married and each of them have precious little boys! It was so good to see both of you at the shower!!!!

WE love the FIRETRUCKS!! woo hoo!

Last week, I went with my Stay At Home Mom's play group to the fire station. Abby loves the firetrucks! She should! The firestation is right across the street from our house! You can look over our fence and there it is! We went last Tuesday and took them a cake to say THANK YOU!!!
